This game has very good graphics and nice but sometimes confusing control. You pilot a space ship through 7 difficult levels, shooting various bad guys and collecting power-ups. Each level is very long and VERY challenging, it is hard to beat the game because it is hard not to die a lot. There are many types of enemies and they all have verious tactics. Some will fly at you, and try to kill you, and some will shoot you. They will develop better weapons throughout the game, but so will you. In the levels, as I have already mentioned, there are power-ups that you can collect. For example, you start off shooting these red blasts, and if you collect another red power-up, you will shoot 2 reds. If you get another, you will shoot three. And if you get another, you will shoot more than you did before. You will shoot your normal 3, and in the time that normally you would be pausing before shooting another 3, it shoots two. This is a very advanced power-up system. BEWARE, if you get a power-up that is of a different color than the one you are using, it will send you to the first level of the new power-up you collected. You will lose your high level power-up that you previously had. Experiment to see what weapon you like best. At the end of every level, there is a boss battle, which are all very challenging. The first boss is the refusor, where you have to shoot this core while it shoots at you, and you dodge these mine-looking things that are floating through the air. This game has a password save feature, so you don't have to worry about game slots. I give this game a 7/10, for these reasons. The game play gets kind of repetitive, and can get kind of boring. Also, the game is very challenging, and it takes a lot of willpower to play. So if your into games that take you a while, Iridion 3-D is for you.
