If you played the first F-zero game, on SNES, and liked it, this is a game you must get. If you played F-zero on 64 and liked it, you must buy this one. If you have never played an F-zero game before, then you should start with this one.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. 21 tracks, even one specifically for the special Single-Pak link up feature, and enough machines to last you a long time. To be exact, there are 10 total in the game. Don't think you can just beat this game in a day or so, to get the last vehicle you must unlock all the other machines, then either complete Championship 255 times, or complete every series in Grand Prix with every machine in master class difficulty. That will take a lot of time. You start off the game with 4 machines, Hot violet, J.B. Crystal, FireBall, and The Wind Walker. The other 6 machines, you have to earn, and they are The Sly Joker, The Stingray, Silver Thunder, Falcon Mk-II, The Fighting Comet, and Jet Vermilion.

You get the choice of Selecting Grand-Prix, Training, Single-Pak Link up, and Multi-Pak Link up. I suggest if you never played the Super-Nintendo version of F-zero, that you start at training. They did, however, add things into this version. For one thing, instead of the A Button being boost, like in the SNES version, well, there only 2 buttons on the face of the GBA so boost was switched to L+R. You can change the controls, but that is the default setting. They also added in the Blast-Turn. When you turn, sometimes you lose your grip on the ground, and so you need to use the blast turn to righten your course. When you are turning, you press the Accelerator button quickly after letting go of it. Sometimes, depending on what car you're using, you must do it more than once, and on really sharp turns, many more times than just once.

All of the tracks are new, and all of the Machines are new. But, one of the best features of the game is the Multiplayer. You can link-up up to 4 people with just one game-pak! There are only a few bad things about this is. One of them is that it does only one course, and you are all the same car, but different colors. Also, there is no music in it. But it doesn't really matter because the music isn't the most important part of a game. But, there is also the Multi-Pak link. In that you choose any course that has been unlocked on any one of the game paks, and you can choose from any machine that has been unlocked on any game pak. There is music in this part. (ˇYay!)

This game is one of the best games for GBA. I give this game a 9 or 10 out of 10.
