If you have ever played a Castlevania
game, then you know the basic meaning of the game. But if you've never played one, basically you run around, you are a vampire killer, and you kill Zombies, Demons, the whole lot. As always, Dracula is back. Again. Only this time your name is Nathan and they throw a new concept into the
game: the DSS. The Dual Setup system deals with cards that you find by killing bad guys. When you find two cards, you can select them in the pause menu and then activate them with the L Button. It will give you a special power, like if you get the Mercury card and also activate the Salamander card, you will be able to use a Fire Whip attack. There are tons of other abilities you get, like when you get 2 certain cards you will gain exp. while you walk. There are many cards and tons of special abilities. Well here's the story. You run into Dracula's castle, and he throws a bat at you. You fall down into the catacomb with your master's son, but your master is stuck up with Dracula. You have to go through the game killing minions and bosses, and retrieving magical items. The magic items are the Dash Boots, Double Jump, Tackle, Kick boots, Heavy ring, Cleansing, Roc Wing, and the Last Key, which unlocks the door to Dracula. There are weapons available that you can use that drain your heart meter, not to be confused with Hit points. Those weapons can be used with Up+B, and they are the knife, Blue Fire, Axe, Stopwatch, and Boomerang. The Knife, axe and boomerang you just throw, but the boomerang you can through up to three at a time. The stopwatch stops time and all enemies are frozen, while the Blue fire throes a bottle on the ground which does damage to enemies that touch it. This is one of the best games ever made, It is just an awesome game. You must buy this game, or at least rent it from a rental store. I give this game a whopping 10 out of 10! <-Nick-> |
